Acer Aspire 5630 Battery?
My Laptop kept turning off so i plugged it into my sons batery and now is ok ! So i assume it was a battery problem....if so where is the best place to purchase a battery in the UK.
Ive only had the laptop a year is this the usual life of one ?
I don't know where to buy a Laptop Battery in the UK, so I will defer that part of the question to others. As far as the life of a battery...that is a variable answer. To get the best life out of your battery, when you first get it.... install it and plug in the power supply for 16 - 24 hours to get a complete charge. After that, you should always run the battery completely dead prior to recharging it completely again. If you are planning on using it for just a short period, remove the battery and run on power supply power. Batteries have memories and will continue to last less and less if you charge every time you use it. At the price of laptop batteries.... you want to make them last as long as possible.
