SLR Canon EOS Rebel Camera Help?
Okay, so i just got this new camera, it's used my grandma gave it to me, and it won't take pictures. It focuses in and out but won't snap. I just put new batteries in both the flash and the camera and I am completely unfamiliar with these cameras, so i have no idea how to fix it. I got it to turn on once and now it won't even turn on again. help?
its a film camera not digital, so i don't think the memory card is the problem and it does have film in it. she either doesn't have a manual or can't find it, so :/.
Did your grandma give you the user manual?
You will need that to understand now to use the camera.
There are many reasons why a cameras shutter will not activate (snap)
* No memory card in the camera
* Lens is not in focus
* The shutter speed and aperture are set to expose outside the range necessary to get a proper exposure
* The lens is not correctly mounted on the camera
I am sure there are a few more, but check those possibilities first
If after reading your manual and you are still having problems, call Canon. 800.OK-CANON
Can I take it that your grandma cannot help you?
